She became involved in her profession because she saw a need for well-trained caregivers in the medical field and enjoyed teaching as well as nursing.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mrs. Centurelli has rendered counseling services pertaining to continued education, domestic violence and those undergoing alcohol and drug rehabilitation. She was resuscitated after being listed as dead on arrival from an auto accident as a teenager and was told to enter a long-term care facility as she would never walk again because they wanted to amputate one leg. She was also told that she would lose the use of her left arm and be unable to speak clearly again. She decided that she needed to enter the medical profession and become a registered nurse and refused the operation, never gave up and made a complete recovery. Her 'never-give-up' attitude is something she encourages her patients and certified nursing assistant students to utilize.
