Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
A lottery occured at my high school to give the students an opportunity to select their teachers for the following year, rather than the usual assignment of teachers. That day, my classes were closed out almost immediately. It gave me great satisfaction to be appreciated in that way.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
I attribute my success to ambition, love of learning, and a high level of curiosity.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
I have always loved learning and that love of learning eventually translated into a desire to teach. My love of Latin was fostered by my extremely dedicated high school Latin teacher, Mrs. Marian Stone. Miss Bree, the Classics Department Chairwoman at Albertus Magnus College, and later, Sister Mary Faith Dargan, her successor, were both important influences in my interest in the Classics. Mathematics has always appealed to me due to its logic and I find a strong correlation between the logic of mathematics and the precise nature of both the Latin and Greek languages.
