He became involved in his profession through his desire to be a physician and his specialized background in neurology and invention of a medical device, which necessitated the start of a company.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Katz is also a clinical assistant professor at the Yale University School of Medicine. Prior to the start of his company, he held executive and commanding positions in the armed forces of the Israel Defense Forces. He moved to the United States after retiring from the Israel Defense Forces Navy in 1987. Regarding the start of his company, he stated, 'Bringing an invention from concept to the field is a long road and I essentially do it on my own.'
