If she could solve one problem in the world today, Ms. Rast would show everyone how to utilize the 'golden rule' in their day to day lives, because she believes people should treat others with kindness, compassion and respect, in order to help the world become a much better place.

Ms. Rast has written six book chapters and two journal articles, reviewed a variety of books, and participated in numerous lectures, briefings and panels. She is the author of 'Interagency Conflict and United States Intervention Policy: Toward a Bureaucratic Model of Conflict Termination' and 'Interagency Fratricide: Policy Failures in the Persian Gulf and Bosnia,' and is projected to release 'Air University Pantheon' in 2010.
