What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
My greatest career achieve was passing the five year mark. I always hear from people in all areas in business that 90% of all small businesses fail in their first five years. The five year mark was my goal. Now it’s TEN!
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
I would like to be remembered as an 'overcomer.' A quote that I always think of is 'Success is not measured by what a man accomplishes, but by the opposition he has encountered, and the courage with which he has maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.'-Charles Lindbergh
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
'World peace'...just kidding! I would love to see the world find contentment.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
I would have lunch with my Dad one more time. He passed away last year, and I was always too busy.

Mr. Laxson thanks first and foremost God for the patience and endurance that he has given him to stick with it and the blessings that followed. Family and friends have also served as instrumental people in his life. He would also like to mention Cambridge Who's Who and Julie Mosher as well as mention my family. All of them have played a very important part in his business and his life in one way or another. He could not have gotten here without them.
Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of his career was moving from doing 90% residential business to doing 90% commercial business. At the end of 2007, they had really felt like they needed to pursue more opportunities in the commercial construction field. They had a casual relationship with an entrepreneur that was working on expanding one of his businesses and needed a contractor. The doors opened for them, and not only was it the turning point for the business, but also perfect timing right before the bottom fell out of the residential market.
