Mr. MacDonald's greatest career achievement thus far has been entering into the 2005 Colorado Aurora artist guild contest and winning the first-place award upon the encouragement of a friend.

Mr. MacDonald performs public speaking at churches, and in 2005, he won an award that launched him into Summer Weekend Art Festivals all over Colorado. He has also joined the ranks of professionals and has been winning awards every year. He looks forward to self-publishing his first book by the end of 2009.
