The highlight of her career was returning to college and being hired right outside of school in order to meet the demands of the aerospace industry, which evolved into a fascinating and challenging 12-year career.

Ms. Solcyk has been teaching art at local colleges and art schools for more than 25 years. Ms. Solcyk's paintings can be found in public and private collections in both Europe and the United States, as well as the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.
