*My first boss at JCPenney. He told me so many important things early in my career about patience, working hard, and not worrying about things you can't control. Just do a great job and good things will come. I would just like to thank him and tell him he was so right!

While not one highlight, but the continued call backs, cards & e-mails from sales reps who have worked for her, and let her know, how much they learned from her and are so thankful. Just knowing she has positively impacted her team, is a highlight. There is nothing better than getting cards after many years from a past employee, addressed..."To The Best Boss Ever".

She attributes her success to always seeing both sides of the story and finding solutions beneficial to both sides.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Her first job out of college was with JCPenney (NYC). After several weeks of buying training, each associate was assigned a department to start their buying career. She was assigned to athletic footwear. This was a perfect match to build on her athletic background and passion for footwear. After 2 years of buying experience and not wanting to leave the footwear industry, she moved onto the sales side and has remained there through out her career.

Ms. Lardie is a professional with more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the footwear business. She continues to be driven every day by the goal of exceeding expectations, while building a great team. In the past she was an ass't buyer for JC Penney (NYC), then moving onto various sales and management postions.
