Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after starting her career in nursing and moving into occupational health. She then progressed into human resources in risk management with HP and finally to Occupational Health Associates.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Garry started working as an registered nurse in 1960 in a hospital setting. She quickly moved into occupational health, where she remained for 25 years. She has been managing partner with Occupational Health Associates since 2003, when she retired from her work with HP in risk management. She has been published in professional journals and has spoken at national conferences. Ms. Garry recently earned a master's degree in comparative religion. She plans to offer spiritual support to people.
