Ms. Ostwald is currently revising the biography of Robert Schumann written by her husband and involved in health program for performing artists. She has translated her 'The Ecstasy and Tragedy of Genius' into French and written a chapter on Robert Schumann for the encyclopedia on creativity. She has taken a course on great figures of music in western civilization at the University of San Francisco and adapted and produced a number of operas for young audiences at the San Francisco Opera Guild. She has performed in Europe, Canada, the United States and Australia. She will be participating in a symposium on neuroscience in 2008.
