Ms. Crete attended San Jose State University and upon graduation, traveled the world as a flight attendant and airline representative. She honed her business skills through aiding in the introduction of California Cooler, a company founded by her brother. As its sales manager and public relations director, she promoted the company in 37 states. After the arrival of her daughter, Megan, the love of her life, she chose to stay at home. Through her mother’s encouragement and the recognition of her skill, Ms. Crete later chose to enter the field of education. She earned a teaching credential through Chapman University and taught in elementary education for 15 years. She believes that the last seven years of her teaching career were the most personally rewarding; it was then that she developed and taught a specialized program for students requiring remedial attention in language arts and mathematics. By building self-esteem and confidence in her students, Ms. Crete helped them feel relaxed in a nonthreatening environment; they were encouraged to ask questions, and thus, they thrived. By the seventh year of this popular community day school, her class had a lengthy waiting list of potential candidates, including teachers. During this time, she experienced the passing of her parents. Ms. Crete’s life changed once more, as she was tasked with the responsibility of managing her parents' assets. She turned to her friend, who introduced her to World Financial Group, Inc. The company’s practices and "no family left behind" mission inspired Ms. Crete to retire from teaching and become a financial agent. She possessed the enthusiasm and teaching experience required to embark upon her next venture. Ms. Crete became aware of the importance of learning how to manage finances and observed its lack of practical training in formal educational settings. Given the current economic crisis, she teamed up with her friend, Bob Lynch, and opened New Loan Solutions, Inc. The company is comprised of 35 enthusiastic agents, who work hard to prevent property loss among homeowners. The company sets the standard for the financial wellness industry through its unwavering dedication to its clients.
