He became involved in his profession because he was brought up in Mississippi, where not much of importance was given to educate the Negro community.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Jackson has served the United States Army. He has also held various positions such as an academic teacher, vice principal, federal grant coordinator, and education auditor. He has also been in the tire industry. He started his career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation as a correctional officer and worked his way up. He wrote his dissertation on an examination of violence intervention programs for juveniles. Mr. Jackson always feels that his wife Glennie is the best middle school mathematics teacher in the Country.
