Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession through a training program he completed in Colorado in 1980. From there he went into a lending position, which led to his current career in special assets consulting.

Restructuring companies that have been overcome by debt or financial losses; Assisting clients with their bankruptcy claims; Managing the accounts of commercial real estate clients; Mentoring junior loan officers

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Mr. Bloyd expects to continue consulting and educating young bankers and loan officers through the Special Assets Management Association. He also hopes to help commercial customers at Bank of the West.
