Dr. Pohost is a former director of cardiovascular medicine and former professor at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was the editor of the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. He is the former chief of cardiology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Pohost is the chief medical officer for CHCGP, Citic Group of China which is opening imaging centers all over China.
