The highlight of her career was receiving a Ph.D. and the success of her two children, one of whom is a Grammy nominee for 2012, and the other who is a medical student.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to collaboration, cooperation, and a lot of patience. She has an incredible team using original practices; everything is hand-done, with no machine work.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession when she was living in Mexico City and working for a cosmetics company. They put her in dresses that she hated, so she started designing her own clothing line, all hand-beaded, hand-sewn and tied. They were sold at Bergdorf-Goodman and through that, she met all sorts of people. She started creating gowns for red carpet events, and one-of-a-kind items.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Galindo is currently focusing on the completion of a Ph.D. and finishing her dissertation. Ms. Galindo's son, Gustavo Galindo, is a musician who has just been signed with Universal Latino. He will soon be opening for Shakira. Her younger son is just finishing his first year in medical school.
