She attributes her success to the passion and wisdom she received from her mother, Ocie (Jones) Henley.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Henley-Johnson retired from more than 36 years as a teacher on March 13, 2010, due to a disability, but plans to return to teaching once she regains her health. She loves teaching new teachers and tries to give them as much inspiration as possible. Ms. Henley-Johnson and her husband adopted eight-year-old twins, Cherish and Christopher. Now age 25, her son is pursuing a master’s degree in jazz studies at Northern Illinois University, and her daughter is a tax preparer and teaches tax courses. She would like to open a Liberty Tax Service very soon.
