Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was studying abroad in Spain during college and wanted to continue to travel and was recruited by the Peace Corps at a job fair.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Sinclair works to improve the access, quality and relevance of basic education contributing to the international Education For All and Millennium Development Goals. She joined the Peace Corps right out of school and has progressed steadily in the international development, educational advisory sector for the last 14 years. She started Global Education Advisors in January 2009 and has been actively consulting ever since. She taught for 5 years before going full time with nonprofits and educational development.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Consulting with international nonprofits and governmental organizations to develop educational advancement globally; Handling international development with clients such as World Bank and UNICEF; Doing impact evaluations by providing baseline evaluations and following through on progress in places like Lesotho, South Africa; Researching, writing and evaluating presentations and training; Providing field assessments and follow up; Working towards gender equality in education
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. Sinclair hopes to be giving back, sitting on boards, mentoring and still active on the educational development front globally.
