She became involved in her profession when she went back to school in her 40s for a master's degree, and decided to get involved in geriatric work.

Ms. Miller has worked in hospitals with skilled nursing facilities. She has nine and a half years of experience as a geriatric care manager and as a care manager with the Alzheimer's Association. Currently she is working as a part-time independent.
