Extended Bio Profile:
Bobbi Knapp has excelled in her profession for over 30 years. She was awarded certificates from the University of Davis and the University of Southern California Schools of Business for their Executive Development programs. She has published articles and presented at national conferences. Her professional background includes work in the critical care, maternal child health, home health, administrative and educational areas of nursing before entering the areas of technology and distance learning, where she held strategic leadership positions. Ms. Knapp previously worked at Kaiser Permanente as the Director of Professional Staff Education for the Sacramento Capital Service Area, before becoming a Northern California Regional Manager then National Director of Distance Learning for Clinical Nursing and Allied Health. She led five teams on national projects that she strategized and implemented, including the Nursing Pathways website as a communication and recruitment tool, online clinical education, web, video and satellite-based professional education, distance online/video conferencing nursing degree programs and competency-based development assessment projects. She has strategized and facilitated many high level, high budget projects with leaders from other healthcare organizations, business partnerships, new venture pilots, universities, national product vendors and union leaders from across the country.
