The highlights of her career include winning registered massage therapist of the year for all of British Columbia; publishing two papers in a year; developing an evidence based protocol to help millions of women dealing with the pain of post-surgical breast cancer treatments; and running for municipal politics; all in the year 2011!

She attributes her success to playing hard and working hard.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because her family encouraged her love of anatomy and science through visits to University of Toronto's medical open houses. In addition, she loves her profession because she is blessed to spend time with each patient, looking at entire systems and their function, instead of just symptomatic treatment. she believes that health care is not working without prevention.

Ms. Chapelle is a published researcher with University of New England on developed techniques for post-surgical adhesions, as well as mastectomy treatment for cancer patients. She will be running for city counselor in 2012.
