Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Sawyer plays the piano and previously taught piano lessons before entering medical school. He was inspired to study gastroenterology after learning of his father's bleeding stomach ulcer and became published during his fellowship. He has also spoken publicly for drug representatives. The practice for which he currently works was named as Mesa GI Group before becoming Arizona Digestive Health in May 2008. The practice has seven locations and 38 physicians.
