Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because of his passion for engineering, and the relative ease of training which once existed in his industry. When he first started working, one could intern and train with a company and become employed immediately thereafter.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Halligan began his long and illustrious career in 1955. He has worked at Lockheed, before the merger that changed its name to Lockheed Martin retiring from there as a Cheif Sytems Engineer at the Advanced Technological Center. An expert systems engineering professional, Mr. Halligan served for many years on the International Council on Systems Engineering. He was one of 10 members of the certification group, which designed the council's certification and examination processes He also served for a number of years in the group that governed and managed the certification process. Mr. Halligan has taught as an adjunct professor at Cornell University.
