Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession when she started participating in care of her mother after her stroke and becoming disabled at a very young age. By the age of 9 years old, she decided that nursing would be her professional calling. She not only knew her mother needed help, but saw all the other people that filled the hospital and subsequent physical therapy rehabilitation that needed help as well.
