If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
I would teach people to think before they react unnecessarily. We are too quick to hit "send"...
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
I would like to have lunch with two people. Form the America's side I would like to lunch with Audie Murphy. Believe it or not, his quiet courage and his unselfish dedication on the battle field is well worth learning about. From the Canadian side, I would like to lunch with Superintendent Sam Steele - the Mountie that tamed the north without a gun. He is a true testament to communication before force

My experience at the Oklahoma Bombing and it subsequently led me to work within the emergency management community working once again with police, fire, EMT and municipal enforcement services.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
I attribute my success to my mentors including my former colleagues at the Calgary Police Service, my upbringing, and the support I receive from friends and especially from my husband.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
My career was accidental. I wanted to be a career police officer and after school I was afforded the opportunity to become a civilian manager within the community services section of the Calgary Police Service. The skills I achieved there, the varied experience in working with victims and the specialty units of the services was invaluable. In 1991, I decided to open my own company.
