She attributes her success to her desire to pursue life-long learning in healthcare, her ongoing education.
How Did They Get Involved In Profession:
She chose the profession because there existed a serious nursing shortage in the U.S. After becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse working in an acute care facility she became curious about the management of patients that her colleagues were responsible for. Exposure to the critical care units sparked a desire to pursue this specialty, requiring a degree in nursing as a Registered Nurse. "The more I learn, the more I realize there is to learn."
