Dr. Zaidi has expertise in nuclear weapons R&D, production and design, nuclear engineering, Tomahawk and Harpoon missiles, ice under mine submarine sonar design, the Department of Defense, information technology. Dr. Zaidi is a professor at three educational universities. He has taught engineering, science, mathematics and computer science courses.
