Ms. Clark used to own a historic hotel and a travel agency. She was also the co-owner of two tourist trade newspapers. She works as an instructor for California Hotel and Motel Management Training. Ms. Clark has ghost-written a book entitled 'Is Anybody Listening: The True Story About the POW/MIAs in the Vietnam War,' published in 2005. She is co-publisher for ShortReads Press. Ms. Clark is currently ghost-writing a book about World War II.
