Was lead counsel for tobacco industry in first smoking and health case tried in New York City and achieved a complete defense verdict that was covered in the Wall Street Journal, New York Law Journal, New York Daily News, New York Post, Bloomberg and various other wire services. Served as lead counsel for RJ Reynolds in first smoking and health case tried in Manhattan and achieved defense verdict for RJ Reynolds. Was lead counsel in first defense verdict in smoking and health case in California since 1985.
