What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Being a full time base and flight surgeon and doing jet training at the same time and obtaining my wings on the P33 Silver Star. I am the only Dr. who has done this.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
Someone who worked extremely hard to achieve what I've done. I want set an example to the younger generation.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
World Peace.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
Barak Obama he is an individual that I admire greatly. He has a very difficult job and he is the doing the very best with what he has.

The highlight of his career was visiting the Soviet Union with a group of American aviation medicine specialists in 1990.

He became involved in his profession because he had a longtime interest in aviation and medicine.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Blizzard published articles on the role of the doctor in civil defense in the University of Western Ontario's Medical Journal in 1962 and on-flight surgeon/jet jockey in the Jamaica Air Wing Journal in 1969. He also wrote an article about patient care, in-flight health and welfare. He is the author of a Canadian government publication called 'Patient Care in Flight.' He is the chairman of a local study group and the author of a 1988 government publication called 'Flight Times and Fight Duty Times in Canada.'
