Work History:
Sixty Four Years of Industry Experience including Eight Years of Experience Operating Heavy Road-Building Machinery; Electronic Design; Television Broadcasting Engineer; Electronic System Design including Many Years Developing Military Radar Power Supply Systems; Most of the Radar System Power Supplies I Developed from 1970-1991 are Currently in Use and Some are Still in Production. Details: Starting in January 1948 Operating Heavy Road Machinery and Studying Electronics. Started at Sperry Gyroscope as an Electronic Technician from 1956-1958. Worked as a Television Transmitter Engineer from 1958-1967. Simultaneously Started Working at Espey Manufacturing in Saratoga Springs, New York from 1959-1991, Finishing as an Electronics Design Manager. Later Joined Aii, which was Merged into Veeco in 2003. I Never had to Go Looking for a Job.
Career Achievements:
At Espey, I Developed a Variety of Custom High-Performance Power Supply Systems including Battery-Backed Power Systems for the Titan Long-Range Missile Launch Sites. I also Designed Radar Power Supplies with Extensive Data Acquisition Systems for Marine, Aircraft, and Ground-Based Radar Systems. At Aii (Later Veeco), I Developed Electronics including Data Acquisition and the Mechanical Design Concepts for Robotic Machines for the Hard-Drive Industries for the Major Manufacturers of Hard Drives. One Machine I Developed in 1993 is Still in Production and over 900 were Sold More than Twice as many as any other Lapping Machine ever Designed.
