Dr. Childers-Teeple has developed, designed and built a 'Labor-Free Mechanical Gate' for individuals with physical limitations to continue farming without the need of assistance for transfers. She worked as a office manager from 1990 to 1993, laborer in 1994 and as a professional occupational therapist of hand and upper extremities from 2001 to 2003.
