What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
In response to this question, I do not know, that I do. If I do, will have to be from the observation of others. But I do hope when and if I do, it is with good standing. It is my belief that caring in the correct way is, and should be everyone's goal. It takes a team and a community always to accomplish this feat. One always have to learn to listen, to be strong, to endure, be consistent, be equipped and ready to face the changes and challenges, be truthful and reliable, because in the end these are attributes that will give contentment and happiness to a service well done.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
To give my best every day. In my long career I see myself always at the bedside. In my long career each day is an achievement but there is one thing that always makes me "stand tall" when my colleagues, of which many have said, if they for whatever reason had to be in a hospital bed they would like to see my face over them caring for them.

Ms. Seymour grew up in Kingston, Jamaica. She attended school at England Towers Hospital, left home at the age of 22, went to British Columbia, Canada and then America. She has worked in many different hospitals in New York and New Jersey, in the West Indies and is currently working in Miami.
