Mr. Cattany has taught many courses and seminars on natural resource management, energy, environment, land use and utility economics. He has served as a consultant for the California Energy Commission, the U.S. Bureau of Mines, Stearns-Rogers, Inc. and the Colorado Energy Research Institute. He has participated in the Rocky Mountain Program of the University of Colorado at Denver in 1984 and ARCO scholarship. He has authored and co-authored over 50 publications, speeches, articles, lectures and Congressional Testimony on energy and resource management issues and the Impact of Energy on the Colorado Economy. He was recognized by the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, the Colorado Mining Association and the Department of Natural Resources. He acted as a liaison between the National Governor’s Association and the White House during the 1979 gasoline crisis.
