Prior to assuming his current position with Triple Canopy, Mr. Moake was the Manager, Systems Security Planning and Validation Department, Protection Technology Los Alamos, Los Alamos National Laboratory until November 2004. He continued as a consultant to PTLA through January 2005. He was responsible for implementing security operations planning and performance evaluations including full force-on-force exercises for a DOE Protective Force of 600 uniformed and staff personnel responsible for securing infrastructure, nuclear material, personnel, and classified material spread throughout a 43 square mile complex. Mr. Moake served in the United States Air Force from October 1978 to November 1998. Following graduation of Basic Military Training and Security Police Technical School at Lackland Air Force Base, His assignments included Grand Forks AFB North Dakota, Royal Air Force Base Bentwaters United Kingdom, again to Grand Forks, Offutt AFB Nebraska, Izmir Air Station Turkey, Kirtland Air Force Base New Mexico, and finally to Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio. During his career he was deployed on numerous temporary duty assignments in Europe, Southwest Asia, and the United States. He retired in 1998 at the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
