She became involved in her profession because she was directed and inspired by her father, who was a high school principal.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mrs. Brock consulted for a program called ‘Great Expectations in Mathematics and Science,’ which is designed to encourage students' interests in mathematics and science. She also participated in 'We Can All Read,' an initiative program designed for children with learning disabilities. She receives much of her satisfaction from seeing her former students excel despite their disabilities.
