Information about my practice;
I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client and discuss treatment options, because I believe that respectful, collaborative treatment builds resilience and personal growth. I place emphasis on the developmental aspects of problems, especially in working with children, where presenting issues can sometimes be accounted for by a number of different explanations. I work with each person, or family, to help them overcome their challenges, to build on their strengths and to identify and achieve life goals. Comprehensive and informed treatment ensures that each child, or adult, has the best possible chance to develop to their true potential.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
My perseverence and the pursuit of a dream. As an immigrant I believed that if I could just get to America then the land of opportunity would be available to me. I didn't exactely count on the competition, diligence and tenacity it would take to achieve my goal of becoming a citizen and a psychologist, but I do believe that America is a special place for people who work hard, and for those who desrve a second chance at achieving all they can be.
How Did They Get Involved In Profession:
I started out as a school teacher and became involved in psychology because I wanted to understand the complexity of the learning and developmental problems of some of my students. Children's mental health became a passion and now I am primarily a child psychologist who works to give my patients the abilitiy to pursue their dreams.
Extended Bio Profile:
I am currently involved in training, liaison and consultation in the development of threat assessment teams in Washington State. I assisst in training members of these teams in collaborative empirically based threat investigation. Expertise and knowledge of the research on clinical and developmental issues relating to violent risk and threat assessment is needed to ensure a high professional standard and I am proud to put my hard work towards such a worthy cause.
