The highlight of her career was to see that "light bulb" suddenly turn on in a child's or student's head in grasping an understanding of the subject matter, was most rewarding, and always the highlight of any day.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her parents, who instilled within her the importance of staying focused, and to be the very best at whatever she chose to do; then, work unselfishly to create a positive feeling of self-worth in the lives of others, remembering to do unto them as she would have them do unto her. Her father would never permit the use of the word "can't" in their communications.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after growing up with a developmentally handicapped brother and understanding the needs of the handicapped. She realized the need to care for these less fortunate people in a loving and nurturing manner.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Golden was originally a full-time teacher for kindergarten students and all elementary grade levels. She also taught adults in pursuit of GED certificates and completing their high school diplomas. She was featured in the news for her work in adult education. Furthermore, she has taught junior college business classes. Ms. Golden is in the process of writing a novel.
