The most gratifying aspect of Mrs. Calcagno's career is acknowledging the academic and social development of her children towards the end of the school year. Their love and devotion makes her job enjoyable.

Mrs. Calcagno has been published in teaching magazines in recognition of the creative classrooms that she has created. In addition, she has enjoyed many years of success as a professional in her field. Her first five years were spent teaching in a challenging homogenius setting. The next seven years she taught in a heterogenius setting. Because of her effective teaching skills, the children that she teaches always achieve their goals.
Mrs. Calcagno experienced a life changing event in 1998 when her mother passed away. She thought her life was over, until her husband encouraged her to follow her mother's life struggles and achievement. He showed her how much she was like her mother and that she could do a lot of good for society. She was eternally grateful for his direction and care. The most important words that she lives by are 'Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you' and the words found in the Eternity prayer.
