What separates Mrs. Webb is her determination. She is always completing tasks to the best of her ability, and her personality, she tries to keep a pleasant positive outlook.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Mrs. Webb's greatest career achievement was being able to take control of over 350 deficiencies, from 7 divisions and have them all re mediated within eighteen months, tested by an independent group (Internal and External Auditors) with just one failure during testing.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
Someone who was fair, with a balanced view and always worked and judged with honesty and integrity.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
To have world peace.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
Without a second thought I would choose my dear departed Mum. Why - Because nothing could mean so much as spending a little more time with my mum.
Expanded Biography:
Mrs. Webb has 18 plus years of experience in her profession, and she hopes to continue to grow professionally and personally. She loves what she does, and she says Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) has given her and other auditors the ability to demonstrate the critical and non-critical controls. Something many IT and financial departments do not understand, SOX is really just good controls, good business practices that should have been in place anyway. It may have been over the top in the beginning, but not now. If done correctly with a "top down" approach.

The highlight of her career was moving from England to the United States and being able to adapt to the difference in cultures. Proving that auditing is auditing where ever you are.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her career success to her love of her profession, to her integrity and to her approachable, pleasant and helpful personality. Janet states you cannot succeed without thorough, in-depth knowledge and expertise in your given profession. Nothing is easy, you have to work at it.
How Did They Get Involved In Profession:
She became involved in her profession after joining Lombard North Central which was then a wholly owned subsidiary of National Westminster Bank, which is now owned by Royal Bank of Scotland; which is part of the network of the UK’s multi-billion pound national banks. Incidentally, the Royal Bank of Scotland is one of the top ten largest banks in the US. Janet became supervisor of an AP/GL & Big Ticket Leasing Dept. She then got involved in moving those applications onto a fully computerized system, and got her first taste of the Information Technology world. She soon got the opportunity to move into a newly formed department, in a fairly new field at that time, IT auditing - Janet had found her true calling. Now some fifteen years later and working in another continent she has found a new and slightly different twist to IT auditing, SOX or Sarbanes - Oxley dreaded by most, enjoyed by few.
