How Did They Get Involved In Profession:
He became involved in his profession when his oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer at 18 months. He has since become passionate about improving radiology and imaging centers, as well as helping to more accurately detect cancer.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Campbell assisted another hospital in Texas with converting from analog to digital imaging and installed a CT unit, which allowed them to perform more sophisticated exams, such as computed tomography angiography and virtual imaging studies. He redesigned the imaging department, installed an I.T. network and supervised the de-install and installation of the CT unit. He wrote and implemented policy and procedures for several physicians in stand-alone imaging centers in Texas and one clinic in New Mexico. This included QA programs, technique charts for the imaging personnel monitoring. Mr Campbell also installed three more ct units in three other Texas Hospitals and provided them with policies and procedures for the new services. He established an imaging department within a doctor's office in Texas and created policies and procedures along with a radiation monitoring and QA program.
In addition to his regular duties, he reviews and updates policy and procedures, along with a tailored technique chart, for a doctor's office in Jal, New Mexico. Mr. Campbell provides policies and procedures that meet NRC,BRC, TAC21, Medicare, Medicaid and JCAHO requirements.
