Dr. Morales-Scott’s greatest career achievement was conducting the international symposium on women with HIV/AIDS in Osaka, Japan in 1993 and receiving the first outstanding student alumni award for her contribution for people affected with HIV/AIDS from California State University in 1996.

The most gratifying aspect of her career is educating others about HIV/AIDS.

Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Morales-Scott is a bilingual consultant for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA and has worked on many committees addressing HIV/AIDS to develop an national organization. She has been serving as an HIV/AIDS consultant for 25 years, and has focused her expertise on grant writing and nonprofit management services since 1997. She has written various articles on HIV/AIDS for ‘La Opinion’ and ‘The Los Angeles Times,’ in addition to co-authoring 'Psychodynamic Theory and AIDS Counseling,' published in 'Beyond the Faces of AIDS,' a University of California, San Francisco publication. She was featured in two educational videos, 'Women and AIDS,' produced in Los Angeles and 'Women and AIDS,' a national HBO production. Dr. Scott has also appeared on ABC, NBC and Univision as an HIV/AIDS expert.
