What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
Mr. Langbein's ability to easily and effectively communicate with both technical and business personnel is what separates him from his peers. Technical personnel who work for him describe his technical skills as smart enough to be dangerous; not smart enough to be useful; and wise enough to know the difference. The business clients he supports describe him as a trusted ad visor who will ensure their needs are met and one who will always do the right thing.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Achieving selection to Full Colonel in the US Army despite the odds against me making it at the time.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
A person they trust, admire, and respect.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
World Hunger and World Peace. It would be my hope that one day we could figure out how to get along with each other and make sure no one starves.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
My father, who has now been dead for 20 years. I'd love to tell him how I've done and how my life has changed since he died.Much of my philosophy on life was shaped by my father when he was alive.
A more modern day lunch companion would be Barrack Obama. I would love to pick his brain on why he's done some of the things he's done.
