Extended Bio Profile:
Lt. Col. Allens assisted a flight nurse on a flight in triaging casualties returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. He ensured that assigned duties were performed with highest standard of care, performances and procedures. He had an opportunity to award Purple Heart to Sgt. William Rich at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.
