Mr. Colón-Rivera's greatest career achievement is being nominated for Who's Who Among American Teachers many times. He has appreciation and love for his students and they recognize him as an inspiration.

Mr. Colón-Rivera has two sons, one who is a staff sergeant in the Air Force and the other is in the Army, deployed in Iraq. Mr. Colón-Rivera is very proud of both of them.
