Ms. Young's 32 years in education included classroom teaching, principalship, and central office administration for the district. She served as reading coordinator, curriculum coordinator, summer school principal, English as a Second Language program director, community education director and in several other capacities. After retirement, she worked several quarters as a student teacher supervisor for a state university.
