Mr. Mack has also served in various organizations including 'U.S. Navy' during 1977 to 1981, 'Montgomery Ward' during 1981 to 1983, 'Mobile Community Action' during 1983 to 1984' and ' United States Navy Reserve' during 1983 to 2002. He is a financial support worker and also participated in Save Blount High Movement to prevent Blount High School from closing since 1986. He has also headed Northside Area Improvement Association to designate numerous historical buildings in Dr. Martin Luther King Avenue area.
