Ms. LeVasseur's greatest achievement is owning her own business, which she purchased from her former instructor.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
Ms. LeVasseur would like to be remembered as someone who loves what she does and tried to give young people the opportunity to experience the same.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
She would like for everyone to respect each others differences and embrace each other. Differences can only be a road block if people allow them to be.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?:
She would like to have had dinner with Fred Astaire, the legendary dancer and actor. Mr. Astaire embodied everything that acting and dancing represented. As a little girl, she always wanted to grow up to dance and act like Mr. Astaire and his famous dance partner, Ginger Rogers.
Highlight of career?:
The highlight of her career was performing 'Think of Me' from Phantom Of The Opera with a professional symphony accompaniment for a crowd of over 3,000 at an outdoor concert. Another highlight was putting on a double concert of both her dance and voice musical theater students three years ago. During this concert, some students who were previously scared to participate voluntarily performed in front of an audience.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to a combination of her experiences and her accomplishments in her career including performing in theater as a young child, singing at any change she got, participating in high school performances, minoring in music in college and learning the realities of how to survive in the world. She also credits Charles Sands, her instructor who sold her his studio upon his retirement, for being a big supporter of her abilities. Mr. Sands was a full blown performer that could teach as well as perform.
How Did They Get Involved In Profession:
She became involved in her profession after helping out with a song and dance class in a studio 17 years ago and then progressing into teaching her own musical theater class. The owner was forced into early retirement and she purchased the studio. Previously, she had been involved with community theater throughout her young adult life. She was asked to help out with a school program and teach private lessons which was an excellent base for when she started operating her own studio.
