She became involved in this profession because was inspired by some of the therapists that worked with her after suffering an automobile accident that resulted in severe life changing injuries.

Ms. Jaques is currently taking riding lessons as well as training, and showing hunters over fences. She is also trying to assist others in the community to get an indoor arena for the development of new programs for hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, day camps, aquatic, and recreational activities. She has experience in retail management, working in rural school districts, hospitals, nursing homes, home health, behavioral programs, horse training, riding instructor, and other occupational therapy areas of practice.
