Mitchel Robbins
Chief Executive Officer
Cambridge Who's Who
At Cambridge Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, Mitchel's professional responsibilities encompass corporate structure, accounting procedures, intellectual property protection, strategic acquisitions, corporate expansion, value-building and driving future growth of the business.
Mitchel Robbins has more than 25 years of professional experience in business development and acquisitions. He began his career in the early 1980s when he earned a partnership with a major global shipping and logistics corporation. From 1985 to 1993, Mitchel was Executive Vice President of Robbins Fleisig Forwarding. Under Mitchel's direction, Robbins became the first shipping company to integrate Windows©-based technology to create innovative logistics software. Due to this breakthrough in software development, he won major accounts such as Toys-R-Us, Nestle Worldwide, Continental, General Tire, and Armstrong World Industries. Mitchel also implemented the company's first Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), wherein employees held 33% ownership. In 1995 the business made several acquisitions of logistics companies, merging them into a single entity, the RFI Group, Inc.
In October 2000, when RFI Group had grown in revenues from $30 million to over $100 million, Mitchel then sold RFI Group and its subsidiaries to Pacer International Inc. (NASDQ: PACR). After the sale, he served as President and CEO of the RFI Group until July 2002.
Mitchel now serves as a consultant to RF International and Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
